EPC500 Procedure Chair

By Department

Patient transportation and positioning systems may be the first piece of medical equipment that a patient comes in contact with many clinical settings. Whether a patient walks through the front door or is received through the Emergency Department, at some point in their hospital visit they will be placed on some type of patient transportation or positioning system. It may be the platform that transports the patient safely to the appropriate care-giving department or it may be the actual platform where care and treatment are administered. Patient transportation and positioning systems may take the form of a stretcher, chair, or mobile procedural unit, but at some point, they will influence patient outcomes.
